1925
Established Nippon Air Brake Co., Ltd. at Wakihamacho, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture (currently Chuo-ku, Kobe City)
1933
Became the first company in Japan to succeed in manufacturing and selling an automotive hydraulic brake
1937
Became the first company in Japan to manufacture and sell air brake systems for commercial vehicles
1961
Established the company's automotive department
1972
Became the first company in Japan to succeed in developing an automotive air dryer
1991
Built its Yamagata Plant in Murayama City, Yamagata Prefecture
1992
Changed company name to "NABCO Ltd."
1999
Transferred hydraulic brake business to Bosch Braking Systems Co., Ltd. (currently Bosch Corporation)
2004
"Established Nabtesco Automotive Products (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (NAPT) in Samut Prakan, Thailand
Established Nabtesco Corporation upon the merger of NABCO Ltd. and Teijin Seiki Co., Ltd., named the corresponding division "Automotive Company"
2009
Established Nabtesco Automotive Corporation as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nabtesco Corporation
2010
Transferred the business of Automotive Company to Nabtesco Automotive Corporation; started operations under Nabtesco Automotive Corporation
2013
Established Minda Nabtesco Automotive Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture with Minda, in Haryana, India
2014
Relocated and established a new NAPT plant in Samut Prakan, Thailand, to expand production
2016
Established Nabtesco ITG GmbH in Saxony, Germany (sold in 2020)
2021
Established the joint venture Nabtesco Automotive (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, China
