Quality Control System on the basis of ISO/TSI16949

In order to satisfy the requirements for facilitating global procurement, we have adopted a quality control system with which we seek to ensure for quality over the entire life of the product, spanning from the product development and planning stages to the delivery of products to customers, and through to the provision of after-sales service. In order to make progress toward achieving a defect occurrence rate of 0ppm, Nabtesco Automotive is continually implementing measures to strengthen our quality control system.

ISO/TSI16949 Certification

We always place customer satisfaction first, and in order to demonstrate our commitment to building a solid line up of products that excel the field, we have obtained ISO/TSI16940 Certification, which is the gold standard internationally for quality control systems in the automobile industry.

APQP Activities

In the development work flow for each new product, an APQP team composed of members from various departments is formed, and right from the design stage the team carries out the work in coordination with the production department to ensure that quality is built in and that the requirements to manufacture the product can be reasonably met by the production department. In addition, each team carries out thoroughgoing management for each phase, as well as painstaking quality checks.
