The Nabtesco Automotive Corporation Yamagata plant was established as a production facility for automobile products in 1991, and aims to continue supplying high-quality products designed and built taking into consideration safety, peace of mind and comfort as fundamental factors to automobile manufacturers and their customers into the future.

Our unique production system, independent planning and proprietary production equipment are capable of flexibly meeting customers’ needs for small quantity, diverse production, and have been built to flexible production process standards ensuring for clean streaming of materials and information from product manufacture to cleaning to assembly and to delivery.

In addition, each separate piece of equipment has been designed on the basis of human motion analysis, helping to both improve production efficiency and realize a superb production environment.

In order to respond to a broad spectrum of customer needs, specialized equipment and general equipment have been disposed so as to provide for optimal manufacturing processes. Through collaboration between manufacturing equipment specialists and craftsmen who fabricate specialized tooling, we have been able to pursue the development of manufacturing technology to an unsurpassed level.

 

Surface Treatment Process

Having the surface treatment process in-house, we can quickly flow products from the manufacturing processing stage to the assembly processing stage. As a result of many years of actively pursuing improvements in our surface treatment processes, Nabtesco Automotive Corporation’s surface treatment processes, including the cleaning and drying processes, have achieved the highest level of processing speeds in the world.

 

Assembly Processes

We have been able to develop highly efficient assembly processes by using our independent planning, proprietary production and assembly equipment in order to respond to the needs of the commercial vehicle industry for small production runs of diversified products. In order to achieve both supremacy in quality and minimal cost, we shall continue to cultivate and develop our assembly processes to win a place in highly competitive market.
