History

1925 Nippon Air Brake Co., Ltd. is founded at Wakihama-cho, Kobe-city, Hyogo(Chuo-ku, Kobe-city at present).
1933 Becomes the first company to succeed in producing automobile oil brake in Japan, starts manufacturing and selling the oil brakes.
1937 Begins manufacturing and selling air brake systems for commercial vehicles.
1961 Automobile department is set up.
1972 Succeeds in developing the first automobile air dryer in Japan.
1991 Yamagata plant is built in Murayama-city, Yamagata.
1992 Company name is changed to NABCO Ltd.
1999 Oil brake business is transferred to Bosch Braking Systems Co., Ltd. (current Bosch Corp.).
2004 Nabtesco Automotive Products (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (NAPT) is formed.
Nabtesco Corporation absorbs NABCO Ltd. and the corresponding division is called "Automotive company".
Dec. 2009 Nabtesco Automotive Corporation is established as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nabtesco Corporation.
Mar. 2010 Business of Automotive company is transferred to Nabtesco Automotive Corporation, commencing operation.
